The Software Defined Systems Engineering team is looking for an experienced test automation engineer with a broad knowledge base. Test Automation (Senior) Engineer
The job:
You will be working together with a group of function, software and electronics engineers as well as various architects. You will work together with various system owners, suppliers and partners and take the lead in setting up their Hardware-In-the-Loop test facilities. In this role you will own our complete HIL test environment based on dSpace Scalexio systems and software. And Simulink and Siemens simulation software.
Some aspects of the work:
- Setting up test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline in close cooperation with test architect and teams;
- Devise and develop test automation scripts and implement them as part of our framework/pipeline;
- Collaborate with the developers to ensure implementation of the needed business, functional, and system requirements;
- Contribute to the execution of test cases when it is needed.
Your profile:
- Profound experience with dSpace Scalexio hardware and software;
- Knowledge and implementation experience of new processes in HiL (and MiL) automation;
- Thorough experience as test automation engineer;
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools;
- Experience in python scripting and Simulink;
- Familiar with developing and using CI/CD pipelines;
- Experience in rest bus simulation and network testing is a big plus;
- Experience in automotive field is a plus;
- Be an energetic self-starter with the ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables;
- A positive and proactive can-do attitude that excels both working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
