Commercial Project Manager
General job description
Commercial coordination of Publlic Transport quotations/tenders in cooperation with the external (local) sales organizations, factories, After Sales/Parts organization and financial department.
Expanding Public Transport activities according to the strategic sales plan in cooperation with the local sales organization.
Focus on E-Mobility product portfolio, expand frontrunner role in Zero Emission Public Transport.
Key tasks
- Project management of quotations (public tenders) and orders across the VDL Bus & Coach organization and its factories, central point of contact
- Involved in tender processes from start of lobby, to Request For Information, Request For Quotation, order definition, delivery process and financial process. Coordinating role
- Commercial customer contacts, Key Account coordination
- Conditions, price, delivery and quality control
- Regular project communication incl. project meetings
- Support, develop and train the sales organization locally
- International focus, core markets for Public Transport are divided over a team of Commercial Project Managers. Core is Europe + Middle East
Education/experience
- Bachelor /University degree
- Languages: English, French (preferably), German, understanding Dutch
- 5-8 year working experience
- Project management
- International automotive, E-Mobility and/or Public Transport background is preferred
- Willingness to travel
