About VDL Bus Chassis

VDL Special Vehicles is part of the international, industrial family business VDL Groep. With 120 employees, VDL Special Vehicles focuses on assembling proto-built and pre-series vehicles from our location in Born. Driven by innovations, VDL Special Vehicles provides smarter mobility solutions for on- and off-road vehicles. We operate mainly in three markets: vehicle conversions (e.g. police, defence vehicles and production of motorhomes and midi buses), contract manufacturing (e.g. production of sub-assemblies into complete vehicles) and zero-emission vehicles (e.g. electric buses, hydrogen trucks and automated Vehicles).
