Have you just finished high school and want to get straight to work while continuing your education? Or would you like to retrain for a job in technology? At VDL we offer you the chance to combine work with a suitable MBO or HBO education.
At MBO level (levels 2 to 4) you can follow a dual course, better known as a BBL course. During this work-based training, you work four days a week at one of our VDL companies, where you learn the tricks of the trade from an experienced supervisor. You also follow theory lessons at school once a week. After completing your BBL training at VDL, you are immediately offered a permanent contract.
Would you like to combine working and learning at HBO level (level 5 or 6)? Then a dual HBO programme at VDL is perfect for you! As a dual HBO student, you receive an apprenticeship contract and gain practical experience at one of our VDL companies while studying. The division between work and study varies per programme, but is always equivalent to a full-time programme. At VDL you can choose from a variety of study programmes, such as:
