Andreas Beking Leidinggevend Operator

VDL Weweler

How did you end up at VDL?

In 2015, I moved from Enschede to Deventer and applied for a job at VDL Weweler. At this time, the work was not there for the taking but VDL Weweler gave me the opportunity to work here. In the years that followed, I was able to obtain my Vapro A and Vapro B qualifications. This enabled me to work my way up to the position of Supervising Operator, where I supervise a number of colleagues and also work productively on the robotised production line. What makes it fun for me is that you face a new challenge every day, and can meet it through cooperation with your close colleagues.

What makes working at VDL Weweler attractive?

VDL Weweler as a company continues to develop constantly and there is also room for everyone's personal development. I am currently taking the Technician Engineering course so that I can expand my knowledge and be of added value to the company in the future, possibly in a different role.
