Steps at VDL De Meeuw

Originally, I am a carpenter, furniture maker. The company where I first worked went bankrupt. A project leader (production manager) at VDL De Meeuw told me that they needed skilled workers. I then started in a small team of 5 people as a machine woodworker. Then I was asked to become assistant team leader. VDL De Meeuw was convinced that I was very suitable for that. After a reorganization at VDL De Meeuw I became a planner, first in production then in the office.
 

A few years later I applied for the job of work planner and I still am. The projects are always different and I enjoy coming up with solutions for challenges during the project.

Delivering a project together with colleagues for a satisfied client. Especially those projects where we transform used modules into a new building.
