The super hip and modern way in which VDL De Meeuw builds appeals to me greatly. So with my background in structural engineering, the move to De Meeuw, meanwhile VDL De Meeuw, in 2015 was a quick one for me.
Plans became reality
I started here in the role of project engineer. In this initial phase, I really had to learn an awful lot. The work ranged from structural calculations to detailed calculations. With the development of the housing branch De Meeuw Nezzt, we had to deal with more complex projects. I noticed that the current work structure and processes were actually no longer adequate. I then came up with my own plan to establish a separate engineering branch. My plan was approved and now a multidisciplinary engineering team is active at VDL De Meeuw, which I am proud of!
